Intro to the great work

So this is the first entry into my new online diary. How exciting!

As I enjoy writing, and I always have interesting thoughts running through my head, I thought I'd give this a whirl.

It's strange to know that other people may be reading this, as opposed to my paper journals which I know are private (at least, I think they are...). I'll try not to think of that when I'm writing, but it will definitely influence my choice of topics and attention to specifics and details.

Basically my entries will be similar to this - whatever pops into my head will appear here as long as my hands can keep up with my mind (which is more difficult than it sounds).

That being the case, I am not going to be 100% conscious of spelling, grammar, etc (but if you know me, that probably won't slide too much). So despite the fact that I'm an editor, I may not have perfect entries all of the time.

So have fun getting a look into the mind of me :)
